Marc McAndrews is curious about people. From small town newscasters, JROTC programs, Death Match wrestlers to his critically acclaimed book, Nevada Rose, where he captured the personalities and places of Nevada’s legal brothels, Marc McAndrews’ award-winning photographs have focused on the outskirts of American society. Marc's work has been seen in the New York Times, CNN, Slate, The Paris Review, Interview Magazine, Daylight Magazine, D Magazine and many others. Clients have included The New Republic, Time, Stern, Inc., Fortune Small Business, Discovery Channel, Open Society Foundation, the Embassy of Liechtenstein and the United Nations Global Compact. Marc was a recipient of the Magenta Art Foundation’s 2006 “Flash Forward” award and his work has been selected for American Photography and PDN’s Photo Annual numerous times.
